Q: What is the limited lifetime warranty on the Mueller Scopes?
A: If at any time during the warranty period a Mueller scope is found to have a defect in material or workmanship, Mueller will, at our discretion, repair or replace it free of charge.
The warranty is void if damage results from unauthorized repair, alteration, or misuse. The warranty is transferable and we do not require a registration card to be completed, we only require a copy of the original receipt which must be from a authorized Mueller Optics dealer. Please be sure when transfering the Scope to another user that a copy of the reciept is also transfered.
Mueller reserves the right to replace any product, which has been discontinued from its product line with a new product of comparable value and function. This warranty shall be void if and no force of effect if an Mueller warranty inspector has determined the Mueller product has been abused, misused, mishandled or tampered with in anyway whatsoever.
When returning a product for warranty work please contact us for a RMA number. Call 989-705-8885 or contact us via email at warranty@muelleroptics.com
Q: Any chance of getting a magazine? I'm having a hard time making up my mind online. I just saw a 4x4 hunter green truck, with camoclad just on the bottom. It looked awesome. I'd love to surprize my husband and do the bottom of our gold heavy duty pick-up. But I need to see the colors better.
Sara Grefe
A: Sara,
To try and keep our cost down, we have elected not to send out print catalogs at this time. The camo patterns, and colors, as the same at what you would see on new camo in that pattern on say a piece of clothing. These are licensed patterns by eahc camo manufacture and must meet standards for color and match.
Q: what is the size of the sheets of 4 ply techni ice that you are selling for $5?
Please reply... thank you
A: The sheets are approximately 12" by 18". And you get one sheet per order. Order are may as you wish.
Q: What is the best way to take care of my cast iron?
A: Preparing Cast Iron for Seasoning
Your cast iron cookware comes with a wax coating, which protects the product during transport between the manufacturer and you. This coat helps minimize rusting. Cast iron is very sensitive to changes in temperature, making it an excellent cooking material, but also making it susceptible to rust if not properly cared for.
Place your cast iron upside down on your Camp Chef outdoor cooker, a barbecue, or in your home oven. Light cooker and set to medium heat to melt off wax coating. When burning off the wax on your cookware, the wax will smoke. This step is best done outside to avoid excess smoke in the kitchen. When smoking stops, your cast iron is ready for seasoning. Remove from heat source and let cool. Wash and dry thoroughly with warm water to eliminate any deposits.
Seasoning Technique #1
When your cast iron is prepared for seasoning, follow these easy steps.
Saturate a clean cloth rag with Camp Chef Cast Iron Conditioner. Coat all surfaces of the cast iron. Place on or in heat source upside down and heat at 375 degrees - 425 degrees F. Cookware will smoke as the seasoning bakes. As smoking stops, remove from heat. Your cast iron cookware is now ready for use or let cool, then store for next use.
After each use, apply a small amount of Camp Chef Cast Iron Conditioner, about a dime's diameter worth, and thinly coat all surfaces of the cast iron. Over time, this will make your cast iron black, creating a finish called a "patina." This patina will enhance your cast iron by creating a glasslike finish, which also creates a nonstick surface.
Seasoning Technique #2
This step is much more dangerous than Seasoning Technique #1.
Using a thick leather work glove, saturate a clean cloth rag with Camp Chef Cast Iron Conditioner. Coat all surfaces of the hot cast iron as soon as the wax coating stops smoking. Cookware will smoke as the seasoning bakes. As smoking stops, remove from heat. You can use your oven, or let cool for storage. Note: Your oven is extremely hot and should not be touched as it will easily burn your skin.
Have a Rusty Oven?
Though there are many methods for cleaning rusty ovens, the one that we have found to be the easiest to use is a can of Coca-Cola. If the inside is rusty pour the Coke in and let it do it's job. Depending on how rusty the oven is will depend on how long you will need to leave the Coke on the rusty spot. If you have an issue with the outside of an oven use a sponge to apply the Cola, or place the cast iron in a large bowl or bucket with enough Coke to dissolve the rust (some rotating may be necessary). After rust is removed be sure to wash and reseason you cast iron.
Q: At the outdoor expo last spring I looked at and was impressed with the Hakko scope you had there but was told you would have another model available with a variable size dot. I am looking for one with a 3 or 4 MOA. The information you have posted here does not indicate the size of the red dot. I currently have one with and 8 MOA but am looking for something with a smaller dot.
Specifications can be faxed to 435-257-4139
A: Bruce,
You may wish to take a look at the new Mueller Scope I offer now, under the Optics section. 4MOA dot and I love this scope personally.
Q: Looking for Camo kit in poly cotton cloth by the sheets. Do you know where I could find this if you don't have it?
A: Kevin,
I have seen those type kits, in fact when I have in Nova Scotia on a bear hunt this year, the outfitter had a cloth camo covering for his ATV. He hated it. It trapped dirt and branches underneath and scratched up his paint.
This product is a 3M tape product. It has been compared by people who see it on my truck as wallpapering your vehicle. It protects the under surface and prevents scratches and brush damage.
Q: I have a Suzuki Samurai convertible (Rag Top)--How many sheets of Camo vinyl would I need to order to cover all the metal parts--Not the (Rag Top)--Tks dennis
A: You would need the CJK Jeep/Sub-Comp. SUV Kit: 120 Sq Ft.
Q: Chris is the red dot scope legal in Utah and other states where it has light enhancement capabilities? Thanks
A: Brian,
Yes, totally legal as it emits no light, only enhances the red dot within the cofines of the scope itself.
Q: Hi there, I'm looking to purchase a full sheet of the advantage, do you have this in stock? Please advise, Thank You
A: Yes sir. Rarely is Camowraps out of stock on any items. They normally ship within 2 - 3 days except Special Order patterns which ship in 2 - 3 weeks.
Q: How does this unit work at high altitudes, like above 7,000'?
Thx.
A: They come with instructions on using them in higher altitude situations. I personally have used mine at about 8,000 feet and had no problems.
Q: What does 4 MOA dot mean. Does it mean the dot appears 4" large on the target at 100m?
and is this the same when the illumination on the dot is turned off?
A: Whatever the Dot MOA is, that is the size in inches that the dot will cover @ 100yds. If it is a variable power scope the size is usually based on the scope being on its highest power (i.e. 3-9x40 would be on 9 power).
As an example our new Multi-Dot 2-7x32 has a 1MOA dot which means it will cover 1" @ 100yds on 7 power or 7x)
Q: Hello

-What is cost of delivery to Poland?
- How to pay?
Regards
Jan
A: Jan,
Unfortunately, since 9-11, the US has put a restriction on shipping rifle or gun scopes out of the country now and I can no longer ship any of these outside of the USA.
Sorry.

Q: How many sheets do I need to cover my scout.

I would think that you would be able to cover a Scout with the Standard Truck Kit;

Q: Can you give me the weight limit on your hanging hammock chair.? Thank you, E. Prince
A: You bet! The weight limit on the Hammaka Hanging Chair is 350 lbs. The Hammaka C-Stand holds 250 lbs. Hope that helps and thanks!
Q: I have a 2003 Suzuki Vinson that I would like to camo . Can you tell me how much camo would would I need and what type would be the best to put on it. I do not plan on removing it once it is on. Also Do you know of any dealers in my area that would install it on the ATV. I Live in the Jackson - Battle Creek - Michigan area
Thanks
Rodger Saylor
A: Rodger,
I would recommend the DATV- Deluxe ATV Kit. It should be plenty of camo to cover the ATV. As for the removable or permanent..? Here is my take and I have had my truck wrapped since 2000. I used the removable, and it has done a great job. Looking back on it now and how well it has stayed on and looks too, I would had done the permanent if I had it to do over again.
ONE DRAW BACK TO PERMANENT! Once it sticks... it is STUCK! The removable is a little more forgiving to apply and make a mistake or two.
Thanks,
Cris
Q: I have a 98 1 ton dually. what accent package would you recommend? Also, which color pattern has more charcoal grey in it? I pull a charcoal horse trailer and would like a similiar color...thanks..
A: Chad,
I would recommend measuring the actual area you plan on covering and getting a rough estimate on the length you will need. Then figure out how high you want it to cover. The estimated distance for the length is what you will need to look closely at. I would think you can most likely get away with the VAK830 kit is it is the right height. Let me know what you come up with and I will be more than glad to help in getting you the correct amount. As for pattern. None of the patterns are predominately gray. I think I would consider the RealTree Hardwoods snow as it is basically white, black and shades of shadows through out.
Cris
Q: Would it be possible to e-mail you information about a new product? I could not find an e-mail address for your company.
Thank you.
A: Sorry you had trouble finding our contact information. I will be adding a Contact Us page to the web site. I can be reached via e-mail at cris@trailmasteroutdoors.com
Q: I recently found out about CAMOWRAPS, and I as wondering how long it will stay on and if it will hurt my paint. If i take it off, is it really difficult to remove?
Thanks
Sarah
A: CAMOWRAPS Camouflage is warranted for 5 years against color fading of the material. The application of our products is not warranted
because conditions will vary. However, with proper application Camowraps has lasted 8 years and still counting. It will not hurt paint, rather it protects it. When you are ready or need to remove, it is a really simple process of heating it up to about 80 degrees and peeling it back off.
Q: Hi, im wondering how good this would stick to wood. thanks
A: Yes, but I would recommend sealing the wood first with a good primer to stop any water from getting under the surface of the Camowraps.
Q: I am interested in the camo strips for the rocker panels on small trucks; not strips that cover the entire door panel, but only the bottom, approximately 1 foot or so in width. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
A: Yes, under the Camowraps page there is a Vehicle Accent Kits page that has options fro 12 inches and 16 inches tall for rocker panels.
Q: If the removal process is heating the material to 80 degrees, how durable is the application to vehicles in the summer months when the temperatures average in the 90's and above? Does the material shift or faulter?
A: Not at all! Unless effort is made to remove the product under higher temperatures, it's fine. I have had it on my truck here in Utah for almost 9 years and we get from -10 to over 100 and it has held up great!
Q: Dear Trial Master,
I am interested in purchasing a mueller scope from you. Can you ship to Sydney Australia and if so how what would the cost be? Thanks, David.
A: Unfortunately, they can ONLY be shipped within the USA.
Q: I was wondering if you have ever seen any applications of the camowraps onto a step side truck? I have a Ford Ranger that I would like to put it on but want to make sure that the curves on the box wouldn't be to much to handle?
A: No, I dont have any pictures of it on a step side, but with some work, it could be done easily. The other option you have is to take it to a local vehicle graphics shop and see what installation would run and have it done professionally. It is a great product to work with on corners.
Q: Im thinkin about puttin the camo truck wrap on my 96 bronco an i was wondering how long the color will last and how long the camo will stay on
Thanks, Luke
A: I have had the removable product on my own truck for almost 9 years now. 5 years into it, I wrecked the truck and thought I would have to redo the entire truck because of color fade. Once I placed the new camo sheets up to the old, you could not tell the difference at all! It is a GREAT PRODUCT and I have retailed it for almost 10 years so have a lot of experience with the product. Feel free to give me a call if needed. 801 381-1706.

Q: hi, i have a sportbike i wanna clad in camo, its all plastic, besides the gastank, which is metal. will the camo sheets still work? will it adhere to plastic, and if so, will the stickers on the plastics show through the camo? also, there are sharp contours in the plastics, will it stay or will it bubble up?
A: The Camowraps will adhere to almost anything, if the surface is properly prepared, following the instruction manual provided with the product. It can be tricky getting around all the corners and edges but this product can be stretched slightly with heat and also often you can use relief cuts to get around complex edges.
Q: I want to know do you have a dealer in the De, Md, Va area that installs your product? If so can you email me a list of installers? Or is it strictly a do it yourself product?
Thanks, Paul
A: Paul,
Just about any company in your local are that deals with vehicle graphics can install this product. It is printed on an industry standard 3M based product that is widely used for vehicle graphics of all kind. But honestly, the removable product is so easy to apply, I donated a kit to a High School Automotive Class with Jr., and Sr. applying the product and they said it was so easy to do and looked great.
Q: Is the boat kits the same kits as the truck kits. From my experience the with different camo wrap designers most kits do not stay on if subjected to under water abuse.
A: All our truck kits come in the removable, which I prefer and is a better product in my opinion, but you can purchase the permanent as well in the boat kits. The only time I really try and get someone to purchase the permanent material is if it is going on a boat that is going into Salt water. I have sold hundreds of boat kits in the last 13 years of retailing their products and never had any problems. It is all about surface preparation. If you get the surface clean and detailed in the instructions, you should not have a problem unless you run it up on the beach or into stumps.
Cris
Q: I am looking to purchase a camowraps wrap for my 99 dodge ram. I am located in Richmond VA and I would like to know if there are any places that would install the wrap around here.
A: Just about any graphics installation company can install our product. It is printed on a industry wide 3M based product that most vehicle wraps are being printed on these days. I would recommend checking references on the company.
Q: Can you tell me why no one seems to carry the zodi hot vent heater anymore? They seem like a great idea and all the stores seem to be sold out and have no idea when they ay get more id ever.
A: They are coming back soon! I went into the ZODI offices just the other day and saw the new prototypes for them. Much improved and should be out in a few more months now.
Q: What is the warranty on these different wraps?
A: Camowraps warrants to all users that all Camowraps products will be free of the defects listed for a period of 5 years. Physical defects incurred during manufacturing, packaging or shipment. In addition, our warranty covers defects such as failure due to fading, discoloration, cracking, crazing or blistering. Camowraps warrants that its camouflage vinyl products are manufactured using the highest quality components and will perform according to claims made in the applicable product and installation bulletins.
Camoclad Camouflage is warranted for 4 years against fading of the material. The application of our products is not warranted because conditions will vary. However, with proper application, Camoclad has lasted 10 years and still counting.
